The Poolesville Falcons basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Paint Branch Panthers to 56 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Poolesville will battle a Rams team coming off a 52-51 league loss to Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-11.

The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Linganore was nudged by Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 59-52, in a league contest.
