In Monday's non-league match, the host Suring Eagles basketball team scored a tight 56-49 triumph over the Sevastopol Pioneers.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Oneida Nation Thunderhawks (Oneida, WI) in a Marinette & Oconto match, on Tuesday, February 7. Suring will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record.
With the defeat, Sevastopol moves to 2-14 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Southern Door (Brussels, WI) to meet the Eagles in a Packerland match on Friday, February 3.
