Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) and the visiting South Holt Knights (Oregon, MO), saw West Platte's basketball squad hold off South Holt by a count of 67-62.

With the victory, West Platte upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Lathrop (Lathrop, MO) to play the Mules in a KCI challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mules come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Lathrop won 55-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Trenton (Trenton, MO)

Next up, the Knights play the St. Joseph Christian Lions (St. Joseph, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. South Holt will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
