Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 68-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berthoud upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Eaton (Eaton, CO) to clash with the Reds in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Reds go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Eaton lost 56-51 in their recent league bout against University (Greeley, CO)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Liberty Common Eagles (Fort Collins, CO) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Platte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 56-47 league loss to Highland (Ault, CO).
