California High School Basketball - Capuchino nipped by Menlo-Atherton

The Menlo-Atherton Bears tipped the visiting Capuchino Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 54-47 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) in a game, on Thursday, February 2. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Scots enter the game with a 15-5 record after their 50-37 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).

With the defeat, Capuchino moves to 6-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to face the Gators in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 1. The Gators enter the game with a record of 6-11. Sacred Heart Prep lost 43-42 in their recent non-league game against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA)
