The Bell Griffins basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers to 0 in the Griffins league triumph on Monday.
The Griffins now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a DCSAA bout on Friday, February 3. Bell will play a Roughriders squad coming off a 46-13 league loss to Banneker (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 8-8.
Next up, the Panthers play the Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA bout, on Friday, February 3. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 62-42 league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
