In Monday's non-league outing, the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA), by a count of 41-18.
The Tigers (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, St. Katharine Drexel smashed Fisher (Lafitte, LA), 37-29, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Patterson for a 3A District 8 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Berwick will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 61-43 league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 6-6.
