The Cameron Comets basketball team (Cameron, WI), was overwhelmed 53-28 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI)
The Chieftains now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amery for a Middle Border battle on Thursday, February 2. Osceola will confront a Warriors team coming off a 46-27 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 12-6.
The Comets (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks come into the Heart O'North battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Ladysmith was overwhelmed by Bloomer (Bloomer, WI), 62-53, in a non-league battle.
