Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ), 39-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cedar Grove upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Panthers host Nutley (Nutley, NJ) to clash with the Maroon Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Maroon Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Nutley won 43-25 in their recent non-league bout against Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ)

Next up, the Mounties clash with the Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Montclair will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
