With the victory, East Brunswick upgrades its record to 14-15 on the campaign. The Bears host Howell (Farmingdale, NJ) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 15-4.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Perth Amboy Panthers (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Red test, on Tuesday, January 31. Edison will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 7-11 record after their 57-33 non-league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ).
