In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Weir Red Riders basketball squad scored a big 53-32 victory over the East Liverpool Potters.
With the victory, Weir improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Red Riders travel to Toronto (Toronto, OH) to confront the Red Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-10.
Next up, the Potters confront the Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. East Liverpool will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 60-22 league loss to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH).
