In Monday's non-league match, the host Florence/Henry Falcons basketball team scored a decisive 47-21 triumph over the Groton Tigers.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Florence/Henry will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 82-52 league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND).
With the defeat, Groton moves to 10-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Deuel (Clear Lake, SD) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2.
