Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Horicon Marshmen (Horicon, WI), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Turner upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Trojans host Clinton (Clinton, WI) to clash with the Cougars in a Rock Valley bout on Thursday, February 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Clinton lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against Evansville (Evansville, WI)

Next up, the Marshmen clash with the Lourdes Knights (Oshkosh, WI) in a Trailways - East bout, on Thursday, February 2. Horicon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 76-34 league win over Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI).
