The Ogilvie Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the host McGregor Mercuries to 29 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Braham for a A Section 5 contest on Friday, February 3. Ogilvie will meet a Bombers team coming off a 43-38 non-league loss to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 14-3.
The Mercuries (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Hinckley-Finlayson triumphed over Mora (Mora, MN), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
