In their next game, the Middie Bears face the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I game, on Wednesday, February 1. Middletown will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bushmen enter the game with a 5-5 record after their 50-35 non-league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).

With the defeat, Minisink Valley moves to 2-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to face the Raiders in a Section 9 Orange County III game on Wednesday, February 1. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 1-6. Port Jervis lost 58-27 in their recent non-league game against Beacon (Beacon, NY)
