Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 64-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Shoals Christian upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Flame host Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Tharptown won 47-39 in their recent non-league bout against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL)
Next up, the Bears play the Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Phillips will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
