In Monday's league outing, the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL), by a margin of 45-33.
The Storm (17-7) will now prepare for their outing against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets go into the Vermilion Valley outing with a 15-14 record. In their last outing, Oakwood thwarted Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 51-30, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 21-5 record. They play next when they host Hoopeston for a Vermilion Valley outing on Thursday, February 2. Watseka will encounter a Cornjerkers squad coming off a 41-14 league loss to Armstrong (Armstrong, IL). The Cornjerkers record now stands at 13-13.
