In Monday's league battle, the visiting Desert Vista Thunder soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Gilbert Tigers.
The Thunder (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 2-2 record.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Hawks go into the battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Highland nipped Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 1-0, in a league battle.
