Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) followers left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Williston Northampton Wildcats (Easthampton, MA), 6-1 in a league match.
The Martlets (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers enter the match with a 14-2 record. In their last match, Avon Old Farms tipped Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT), 4-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a match, on Wednesday, February 1. Williston Northampton will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Pelicans enter the match with a 11-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Phillips Academy (Andover, MA).
