The Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) basketball knocked off the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 60-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Reds go into the test with a 1-8 record.
The Broncos now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Estes Park for a test on Tuesday, January 31. Platte Valley will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 67-28 league loss to Liberty Common (Fort Collins, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
