JV Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Willcox Cowboys (Willcox, AZ), 55-31 in a league bout.

With the win, JV Opponent upgrades its record to 143-340 on the season. The host Philadelphia Christian School (Calhoun, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Philadelphia Christian School won 47-27 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Area Christian Academy (Morganton, GA)

Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Willcox will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 70-37 non-league win over Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ).
