In Monday's non-league battle, the host Woodside Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 4-2 triumph over the San Leandro Pirates.
The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons come into the Peninsula - Bay battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Aragon nudged Jefferson (Daly City, CA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Pirates (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans come into the West Alameda County - Foothill battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Castro Valley nudged Piedmont (Piedmont, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
