South Dakota High School Basketball - Alcester-Hudson knocked off by Centerville

January 30, 2024: Alcester, SD 57001

The Centerville Tornadoes basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs to 50 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgewater/Emery for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Centerville will meet a Huskies team coming off a 54-49 league win over Colman-Egan (Colman, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 7-5.

The Cubs (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers enter the B Region 4 contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Freeman ran past Scotland (Scotland, SD), 58-35, in a league contest.
