In Tuesday's league outing, the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA), by a margin of 62-43.
The Antelopes (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA). The Quakers go into the WPIAL 4A 4 outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Quaker Valley thwarted West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA), 73-57, in a league outing.
The Wild Cats now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Montour for a WPIAL 4A 4 outing on Friday, February 2. East Allegheny will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 60-52 league win over South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 15-3.
