Washington High School Basketball - Sehome thwarts Blaine

The Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) basketball knocked off the host Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 74-59 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mariners (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Nooksack Valley went down by Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 76-50, in a league test.
The Borderites now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, February 1. Blaine will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 61-50 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-12.
