Minnesota High School Basketball - Blue Earth knocked off by St. Peter

The St. Peter Saints basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Blue Earth Buccaneers to 54 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saints now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a AAA Section 2 contest on Friday, February 2. St. Peter will meet a Tigers team coming off a 78-54 non-league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
The Buccaneers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Waseca ran past New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN), 87-37, in a non-league contest.
