The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Emporia won 57-38 in their recent league challenge against Topeka (Topeka, KS)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS) in a Eastern Kansas challenge, on Friday, February 2. Blue Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
