Kentucky High School Basketball - Bluegrass United edges Thomas Nelson

The Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) basketball nipped the host Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), 74-70 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bluehawks (12-12) will now prepare for their test against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Burgin was tipped by Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 62-33, in a league test.

The Generals now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to John Hardin for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Thomas Nelson will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-22.
