The Brandon Valley Lynx basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Marshall Tigers to 54 in the Lynx non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lynx now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rapid City Central for a AA contest on Friday, February 2. Brandon Valley will meet a Cobblers team coming off a 57-51 league loss to Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers record now stands at 1-10.
The Tigers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN). The Saints enter the AAA Section 2 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, St. Peter triumphed over Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN), 74-54, in a non-league contest.
