Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) and the host Cherokee Chiefs (Cherokee, OK), saw Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's basketball squad overcome Cherokee by a tally of 34-24.

The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Waukomis (Waukomis, OK). The Chiefs go into the Skeltur test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Waukomis went down by Ringwood (Ringwood, OK), 57-42, in a non-league test.

The Chiefs now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Pond Creek-Hunter for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1.
