In their next game, the Panthers face the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a Central State Eight game, on Friday, February 2. Decatur Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Railsplitters enter the game with a 18-7 record after their 55-29 non-league win over Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).

With the defeat, Jacksonville moves to 11-14 on the year. The Crimsons host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to face the Cyclones in a Central State Eight game on Friday, February 2. The Cyclones enter the game with a record of 7-13. Sacred Heart-Griffin lost 72-43 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL)
