The Oxford Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets to 47 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Royal Oak for a Oakland - Blue contest on Thursday, February 1. Oxford will battle a Ravens team coming off a 65-31 league loss to Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Ravens record now stands at 9-7.

The Yellowjackets (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds come into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Valley triumphed over Roseville (Roseville, MI), 53-47, in a league contest.
