The Douglas Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Sutton Sammies to 43 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quaboag Regional for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Douglas will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-57 non-league loss to Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.

The Sammies (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Northbridge ran past Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA), 65-57, in a non-league contest.
