In Tuesday's non-league match, the host East Carter Raiders basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the Greenup County Musketeers.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a District 62 match, on Friday, February 2. East Carter will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 12-6 record after their 69-58 non-league loss to Knott County Central (Hindman, KY).
With the defeat, Greenup County moves to 12-11 on the year. The Musketeers host Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to meet the Lions in a District 63 match on Friday, February 2.
