The Shawnee Mission East Lancers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers to 46 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lancers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olathe North for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Shawnee Mission East will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-47 non-league win over Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 10-2.

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Shawnee Mission North Bison (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Gardner-Edgerton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bison come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 57-50 non-league loss to Olathe East (Olathe, KS).
