Jefferson Blue Jays (Festus, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grandview Eagles (Hillsboro, MO), 71-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Blue Jays travel to Perryville (Perryville, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-16. Perryville lost 75-51 in their recent non-league bout against St. Vincent (Perryville, MO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Herculaneum Black Cats (Herculaneum, MO) in a Jefferson County - Small bout, on Friday, February 2. Grandview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
