The Grayson County Cougars basketball team (Leitchfield, KY), was nudged 76-71 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY)

The Green Waves now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock County for a District 11 battle on Friday, February 2. Meade County will confront a Hornets team coming off a 68-46 league win over Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 8-10.

The Cougars (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Raiders come into the District 12 battle with a 1-15 record.
