In Tuesday's league outing, the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars (Cooperstown, ND) basketball squad beat the visiting New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets (New Rockford, ND), by a margin of 61-49.
The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Larimore (Larimore, ND). The Polar Bears go into the B District 4 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Larimore was topped by Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND), 58-50, in a non-league outing.
The Rockets now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Hatton/Northwood for a B District 4 outing on Thursday, February 1.
