Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), 74-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Heritage upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI) to play the Lumberjacks in a Saginaw Valley bout on Friday, February 2. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Arthur Hill won 65-61 in their recent league bout against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI)

Next up, the Chemics play the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 77-66 league loss to Davison (Davison, MI).
