The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), 67-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors go into the Tomahawk test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Athens went down by Williamsville (Williamsville, IL), 35-33, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Greenview for a Tomahawk test on Wednesday, January 31. Illini Central will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-34 league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-18.
