With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to play the Lions in a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 26-3. French Settlement won 84-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Amite (Amite, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Kentwood Kangaroos (Kentwood, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Independence will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 73-25 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA).
