The Istrouma Indians basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting West Feliciana Saints to 50 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinley for a 4A District 6 contest on Friday, February 2. Istrouma will battle a Panthers team coming off a 73-48 non-league loss to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-9.

The Saints (5-22) will now prepare for their contest against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors come into the 4A District 6 contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, St. Michael prevailed over Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA), 60-59, in a league contest.
