The Worthington Trojans basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the host Jackson County Central Huskies to 85 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Ulm for a AAA Section 2 contest on Friday, February 2. Worthington will battle a Eagles team coming off a 123-87 non-league win over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.

The Huskies (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 17-17 record. In their last contest, Maple River edged Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN), 54-45, in a league contest.
