Illinois High School Basketball - Oregon knocked off by Lutheran

The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Oregon Hawks to 67 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Falls for a Big Northern contest on Friday, February 2. Lutheran will battle a Rockets team coming off a 88-70 league win over Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 17-7.
The Hawks (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Dixon (Dixon, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses enter the Big Northern contest with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, Dixon ran past Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 56-28, in a league contest.
