Nevada High School Basketball - McQueen edged by Spring Creek

The McQueen Lancers basketball team (Reno, NV), was nudged 65-61 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV)

The Spartans now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dayton for a 3A Northern - East battle on Friday, February 2. Spring Creek will confront a Dust Devils team coming off a 62-18 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Dust Devils record now stands at 5-13.

The Lancers (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the 4A Northern battle with a 20-3 record. In their last battle, Damonte Ranch was nudged by Reno (Reno, NV), 61-49, in a league battle.
