The Monmouth Regional Falcons basketball team (Tinton Falls, NJ), was overwhelmed 76-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ)
The Lions now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Donovan Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 31. Middletown North will confront a Griffins team coming off a 58-48 league win over Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Griffins record now stands at 13-3.
The Falcons (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners come into the Shore C battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Lakewood was overwhelmed by Liberty (Jackson, NJ), 66-38, in a league battle.
