In Tuesday's league outing, the New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) basketball squad beat the host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL), by a count of 53-38.

The Pretzels (18-6) will now prepare for their outing against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the Sangamo outing with a 6-17 record. In their last outing, Olympia was topped by Riverton (Riverton, IL), 62-46, in a league outing.
