The Tarkio Indians (Tarkio, MO) basketball felled the visiting North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO), 63-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Indians (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Stanberry (Stanberry, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Stanberry was beaten by Princeton (Princeton, MO), 67-31, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host West Nodaway for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. North Nodaway will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 75-27 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, MO). The Rockets record now stands at 9-7.
