The Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) basketball crushed the host St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE), 65-22 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chargers (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Nebraska Christian was trounced by Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE), 55-45, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Central Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. St. Edward will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-25 non-league loss to St. Francis (Humphrey, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 13-5.
