The Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) basketball nipped the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), 45-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen go into the test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Musselman got by Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 35-30, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Hill for a non-league test on Monday, February 5.
